Mostly Merlot in this blend, deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruit and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of ripe plum and currants with notes of cacao and toasty cedar. Grainy rustic tannins, medium finish ending with ripe fruit and burnt espresso character. Just ok!

Floral (hibiscus) Baby diaper smell, deep non descriptive jam, oysters, seems like an Italian village wine trying to mate with medium bodied Californian Zinfandel - also that was all before 3 hrs, becomes hisbiscus smell with acidic raspberry and much more normal and 8.5to 8.8

Opened a few years too soon on this one....

Decanted for 30 min. BlackBerry and blueberry aromas. On the palate, it is still closed. It is fairly astringent and tannic still. Closed down dark fruits, tobacco, and leather.

Right now I'll say 8.9 but in a few years maybe a couple points higher.

Hold if you have any or it needs a really looong decant.
