Geelong Chardonnay

So good. Attractive floral, citrus nose, lick of nougat, then the line and fruit of the palate is superb. Fine, gentle acidity sees it to a long, grapefruity finish. Gorgeous Chardonnay.

Pleasurable Chardonnay; citrus, nutmeg, cashew and creamy lees on the nose - but a far from dense bouquet. Looks lifted, fresh and light - a picture reinforced by the palate. Some sweet lemon through the palate with a nut and cream background, and soft but strong acidity that sees it sneak its way to a very pleasant long finish.

Straw gold in colour, peach and butterscotch on the palate; the fruit, oak and acid in perfect balance with a beautiful mouthfeel. A lovely wine and would reward another couple of years in the cellar. 92 pts.
