Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon

A fun tasty Cabernet.

Like most Napa Cabernet it is worth waiting a while before enjoying. i have little self control but luckily have access to this beauty. This is probably at its prime now. Chocolate, blackberries, blueberries and hint of a a herb garden in the summer with easy soft tannins. An Oakville classic!

Give it 10 years and it's love at first sip!

Far Niente is always consistent. Fruit was bright and had a great finish.

This was the line red wine at our White Party. Really enjoyed this and frankly it's still young

Lots of character and complexity

Ripe black fruit. Expected more oak, tobacco, leather but it’s really a juicy fruited lovely fruit forward wine drinking very well right now. Soft silky mouthfeel. Tannins softened very nicely. Backbone still there, would guess has 3-5 yeqrs left. Nice long finish. Holding up very well and a joy to drink now.
