Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon

Still youthful. Opaque dark ruby color. Lots of red and black currant fruit, hints of tobacco, leather, spices. But, it’s just lacking something in the middle.

Opened this for our 24th anniversary. I have more in the cellar and wanted an excuse to see how it is aging. It was excellent.

aroma of orange peels is a characteristic. it tastes like pinot.

Purple- black intense color, somewhat closed nose with hints of spice, blackberries and cassis. Soft tannins and rich Cabernet flavor - remarkable 20+ year beauty

This wine has become increasingly complex and clean with age. The light fruits play with the an almost Italian style funk that feels like fruit with fine cheese

Still great after all these years! Silky smooth, light on the palette, very refined.
