2007. Leather smoke fruit. Can it be waning? I've been sitting on this bottle for five years.

Nice Rhone wine; well rounded and flavorful with strong fruit - especially plum and a little apple - and a nice vanilla finish. Not too earthy but had some. Opened nicely but a little slowly.

65% Syrah and 35% Grenache. Earth and garrigue notes. Dusty tannins and deep red and blue fruits on the tongue. Medium body with pleasantly mild acidity. A very good wine.
