Awesome. Power, grip. Everything you want and love about the CDR. Almost would guess it was northern Rhone because of the tension.

Brett. Some raspberry showing but too much Brett for me. 2nd day, thought for a minute that the wine was more enjoyable but it wasn't...
Garbage, looks like 2010 was the last year the family controlled the winemaking after the sale to Perrin. Or, these were in barrel during the sale. Hoping the winemaking gets cleaned up, there is a great fruit core there but the Brett is too much for me

Holy Shit! Gigondas showing everything it has to offer. Close to the best bottle of Gigondas I’ve ever drank!

2006 vintage on Dec 30, 2017 from Bob’s cellar. Proof-positive that Gigondas can be elegant. Kudos to the Perrin Family, they deliver.

Smooth, balanced, spicey notes at the end, good fruit, mild tannins. Drinkable by itself.
