Perfect #grenache #garnacha it reminded me of some of the Garnachas I make in Campo de Borja. Super silky rich tannins. More expressive on the palate than on the nose. #gigondas and can I just say that it’s aging excellently. This was a 2012 and it was fresh and juicy and not showing any age or tiredness

2012 version. I really enjoy Gigondas. This was a very good balanced version. Very floral rich earthy aromatics. Nice mouthfeel bright fruit. Medium bodied.

This was absolutely singing six hours after opening. Minerals, anise, dark berries. The tannins are suave and the acidity is vivid. Old vine grenache at its best.

Awesome. Power, grip. Everything you want and love about the CDR. Almost would guess it was northern Rhone because of the tension.

Brett. Some raspberry showing but too much Brett for me. 2nd day, thought for a minute that the wine was more enjoyable but it wasn't...
Garbage, looks like 2010 was the last year the family controlled the winemaking after the sale to Perrin. Or, these were in barrel during the sale. Hoping the winemaking gets cleaned up, there is a great fruit core there but the Brett is too much for me

Again, opened too early, wait another five years before opening the next bottle.

Holy Shit! Gigondas showing everything it has to offer. Close to the best bottle of Gigondas I’ve ever drank!
