Definitely best enjoyed as a sweet wine! Did I mention very sweet! Was originally trying to pair this with pork chops, thinking it was a dry chenin blanc, NOPE! Ended up pairing with the cheese course instead.

May 13th, 2020This is a very tasty Chenin Blanc from France. Showing honey, yellow apples, apricots, tropical fruits and spices.
Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity.
Semi sweet on the palate and very tasty.
Nicely balanced with a slight buttery feel. Nice and elegant.
I've had a few different vintages before, and it keeps on being consistent and yummy.
12% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Nov 19th, 2016A definitely off-dry Chenin Blanc, with elevated notes of apricot, baked pear and candied yellow fruits. A bit sweet to my taste but I can see why other feel more confident with the Grand Reserve. I prefer the classic version as this one lacks acidity. Very long fruity finish. Pairs nicely with fruit tart.

Nov 30th, 2024Peach and pear in the nose with peach, pear & orange in the palate. A crisp, medium bodied, medium acidity wine. Flavor enhanced with Gruyère, which brought out a flavor of orange.

May 29th, 2021Semi dry, so on the sweeter side but well balanced. Honey and apricot, almost mead-like. Carries you across courses — fish, cheese, dessert. Easy drinking but not one-note. K loves this one
