This is a very tasty Chenin Blanc from France. Showing honey, yellow apples, apricots, tropical fruits and spices.
Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity.
Semi sweet on the palate and very tasty.
Nicely balanced with a slight buttery feel. Nice and elegant.
I've had a few different vintages before, and it keeps on being consistent and yummy.
12% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Nov 14th, 2020Definitely best enjoyed as a sweet wine! Did I mention very sweet! Was originally trying to pair this with pork chops, thinking it was a dry chenin blanc, NOPE! Ended up pairing with the cheese course instead.

May 13th, 2020Straw with aromas of sweet stone fruits. On the palate peach, pear and honey. Wine is too sweet for a Chenin, lacks acidity and complexity, a little off. Medium finish but I would pass. Pricey. Tasting Sample.

Nov 19th, 2016About the smoothest Chenin Blanc I've encountered. Enjoyed this bottle with swordfish.

May 29th, 2021Semi dry, so on the sweeter side but well balanced. Honey and apricot, almost mead-like. Carries you across courses — fish, cheese, dessert. Easy drinking but not one-note. K loves this one

Feb 22nd, 2021Extremely sweet. Requested a Riesling that was between sweet and dry (midrange) and this bottle was recommended. Reminded me of a Moscato. Not a fan.

Sep 27th, 2020Quite sweet, but I’m enjoying it. Almost to Riesling sweetness territory, but there’s enough interesting petrol notes and acidity to balance it out. Golden Apple, tart pear, stone fruit. Fantastic with the Chicken Thigh + caramelized onion/cinnamon/cardamom basmati rice recipe from Ottolenghi and Tamimi’s Jerusalem cookbook.
