Punch bowl nose - sweet, fruity and complex. Warm red and purple fruit with a tamarind brown sugar element and hint of allspice but all in a very pure package. Exceptionally pure. Tannins float and tickle the finish. Great example of transparency and elegance in the variety.

Beautiful and integrated. Tannins and settled in wonderfully but the structure still manages the high alcohol and keeps everything incredibly balanced.

Having with Cornish game hen with roasted butternut squash, onions and celery. Finally a cool evening in the summer. Taste like Thanksgiving.

This wine is like that perfect cranberry accompany to the meal.

Fantastic Spanish wine. Bright acidity, very fruity but hints of spices from the Spanish oak. Overall a delicious wine. Drank with our second anniversary dinner

Familia Nin-Ortiz’s 2009 Planetes de Nin is sourced from a contiguous 11 acre parcel all planted on llicorella and farmed biodynamically. The wine is made up of 70% Garnacha and 30% Cariñena aged in big foudres.
It is dark purple in color with an intriguing nose of black berries as well as mineral, lavender, and black cherry. On the palate it flows with gorgeous freshness and purity of fruit and a Juicy acidity.
