Windblown Texas High Plains Red Blend
Okay, so this is good. It doesn’t have the depth and complexity (or finish) to be excellent, but there’s some serious potential here. Pay attention, y’all: mulberry, blackberry, pepper, cinnamon, leather, meat. Get it, girl.

Dec 7th, 2018Medium purple; medium intensity aromas of blackberry, black currant, mulberry, black raspberry, blueberry, iris, crushed rocks; youthful; dry, medium acid, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium intensity flavors of ripe blackberry, black plum, bitter black plum skin, crushed gravel, medium minus finish; good due to balanced flavor intensity, acid and alcohol, but not very complex and not much length; but it’s meant to be a ripe, easy drinking wine

Oct 7th, 2018First Texan wine for us ever and perfect for #TexasWineMonth. Interesting blend made up of 25% Mourvedre, 25% Petite Sirah, 23% Carignan, 18% Syrah and 9% Grenache.
Medium purplish red, definitely from the bigger varietals in the blend. Light nose with a touch of candied berries, a touch woody and lavender. Balanced alcohol and acidity. Light plus bodied with notes of white pepper, dark berries, spices and black cherries. Medium length finish. Would not of guessed Texas if tasted blind. Drink till 2022.

Jun 21st, 2021@Delectable it’s actually their rosé. 65% Grenache 31% Cinsault 4% Rolle. This is assertive. Not quite a punch but definitely a light Texan slap at first taste. Very tart, with primary notes of vanilla, strawberry, and grass.

Mar 1st, 2017Texas wine. 40 % carignan, 36 Mourvèdre, 18 petite sirah, 3 each of Syrah and Grenache. On opening, it's light to medium bodied with sour cherry, cigar box, and bright acidity. Initial rating of 87. After two hours it starts to smooth out and show a little more richness to balance out the acid. Some blue fruit also starts to show. Rating 88.
