Mahonia Pinot Noir

Dry and earthy.

Generous, open knit. Balanced though, has elegance. Strawberry and raspberry preserves and rose petals, spice cake.

So much life for an 11 year old wine! Big and dark, like the vintage, yet still vibrant and juicy. Layers of blackberry bramble, fatigued leather, graham, and a touch of spice. Fun wine.

Sour cherry, earth. Great nerve and acidity. Delightful Pinot from just outside Eola-Amity

Delicious classic Oregon Pinot from a tough year. Tobacco. Herbal. Tight. Bright. Could use a few more years cellar time!

Overall seems lighter than average for a Pinot. Some red berries on the nose and some earth. Very nice, just not full flavored.

Soft. cherries. Lowish acid.

Nose: Red apple, nutmeg, pepper
Mouth: cherry, terroir, hint of rose, and cumin finish
Very clean taste and color.
