Fantastically light and focused. Excellent cool climate chard packed with fruit but restrained. The most beautiful US chard I’ve tried.

Blind folded I would have thought Burgundy. Petrol, green almond, and flint. Lime, hint of tropical flavors and minerals on the palate. Vividly long persistent finish- Don't miss this.

Tastes like a $200-$300 1er Cru Meursault. So. Freaking. Delicious.

A pinnacle Oregon Chardonnay, the 2014 Evening Land Seven Springs Vineyard Summum hails from a single block at the heart of the Seven Springs vineyard where the soil is thin and a stony basalt outcropping can be seen. The vines, all Dijon clones, were planted in 1984, and are naturally low yielding. Summum is stunningly pure, precise, and texturally elegant. A silken ribbon wrapped around yellow apples and d'Anjou pear. Mandarin orange, lemon curd, pencil lead, trace minerality—it's very Burgundian. Sample

Outstanding Oregon Chardonnay. Brings meursault to mind with floral nose, oak and citrus mid, with a sleek mineral finish. Great with seared halibut and citrus brown butter sauce.

Very interesting Chardonnay. This is more on the herbaceous, weedy side around the edges of a brighter and medium bodied wine backbone with pear and honeydew melon. Pours light. Entry is moderately acidic with the herbaceous side expressing rather early. Finishes more on the light side as well. One of the lesser exciting wines enjoyed today (I'm allowed to say that....because it was my pull....)
