Spanish Springs Pinot Noir

Gross. Just fucking gross.

Pinot big enough to stand up to a steak, but still be pinot.

Maroon color with forest floor, baked red fruit, dried rosé and a bit of spice aromas. On the palate it's medium bodied and intense with great acidity and a silky texture. It shows tart cherry, pomegranate mineral and spice flavor. Long finish

Thick ruby color. Aromas of earthy berries without redeeming value. Mouth feel is thick and not particularly pleasant. As it airs some aromas of Pinot are present but overall a very disappointing wine.

2012- Great Stuff!

A total miss for me. Spiced berry fruit with a hint of cinnamon, but then it transitions oddly to a very uneven tobacco, earthy finish, but definitely too much mineral. Definitely, not my favorite Pinot Noir.

Acceptable table wine. Not great drinking by itself but decent with food.

A gift from Jeannie for Christmas. Yum!

Tangy, metallic, not good. Overpriced.

Well crafted for sure but if you asked me to describe it I would have trouble describing it. It tastes like a wine that will offend/intrigue no one yet is as solid as it gets.
