Wily, almost Grenache-y, busty, rich. An interesting drinking window. #delectableapp

Very Californian. An acquired taste. Still fruit forward after all these years!

One of the best. An homage to Dr. Mark saying it’s time to drink the good stuff.

A hot tub and a cool wine...pop and pour. A wondrous inky ruby red. On the nose: blue fruit, plum, wet leaves, dried herbs. Taste: blueberry, spice, minerals....a rich mouthfeel leading to a black cherry vanilla medium finish with some slightly grippy tannins.

Tannins held up, yet didn’t overwhelm the smooth, well-balanced, and distinguishable flavors of plums, cherries, and boysenberries. A very nice wine.

2013 drinking very well. Red cherry on front with tones wet stone, mineral limestone and some earthy floral. Very complex.

Earthy, pronounced and interesting aromas of cherry, wet wood, mushroom, cinnamon, and other scents. Massive fruit expression and good balance. This will get better after a few more years. My only complaint is the price; the bottle is too heavy (and therefore, expensive), etc, and it's $10 to $20 higher than other, worthy competition in Napa and Sonoma and elsewhere.
