Memorable wine.
Not bad for a Wednesday afternoon tasting bench late addition.

Quite tight and enclosed but a dark underlying jolt of citrus acidity and dark sweet fruit. The underlying material is great and sheer quality. From a sensory glass later this is much more open. Lime and wet marble. Excellent.

Delicious high class white burgundy. Well integrated new oak flavors of cedar, vanilla, toast, and brioche balanced by slightly underripe yellow and red apple with Anjou pear.

Pear and lemon curd, mineral and acacia flower. Rich and full bodied with good acidity and purity of fruit.

1992 vintage. From the list at Oustau in Les Baux. Borrowing a photo because the bottle served had lost its label, but the cork was appropriate. This was med gold and heavy in the glass. Immediate smile when a whiff of the fruity nose was taken. Lots of sweet fruit, marzipan, stone, white flowers and complexity in the nose and mouth. Over 3 hrs this really built into a lovely aged burg. The acidity was never super big, consistent with the vintage. But this was a really good wine that is an example for why you age these bottles.
