Tasted blind. Medium gold, heavy. Great leesy lemon nose. Some honey and white stone too. Very tight, with Chablis-like intensity/acidity. Seems young. I go with 02 Raveneau MdT as a guess. Surprised to see an 89 in such great condition. I had/loved the 86 of this. Would love to find me some of this 89...

Simply perfect. Long finish. Creamy/oaky wrap around a wonderful acidic front end. Just perfect.

Nice golden color, but not too much so. Heavy in the glass. Amazing complex, fruit forward nose. Notes of apricot, lemon, gravel and cardamom spice. Soft but fine acidity in the mouth with lots of fruit still powering a nice, long finish. 3rd of 3 btls acquired about 5 yrs ago via auction from a consignor known to have a cold cellar and great provenance. This was the best of the 3. Love the old ES foil. One of those great white burg experiences that only white burg can give.

It really is amazing when a white burgundy blows your mind like this one did the other night. Amazing balance, depth and elegance. 2009s are ready to go imo so if you have any definitely try some.
