It’s always a pleasure to explore a new Champagne house, and this was no exception. This bottle carries all the dynamism and precision that you desire in a Blanc de Blancs, without feeling unapproachable. Chalk and chiseled ice meet green apple froth and Chantilly cream.

Very toasty and yeasty in the nose. More apples on the palate. The warm and fruity notes balance the high acidity really nicely. Overall just a beautiful champagne and only $45.

My first pick for the Corkbuzz list. I have probably already had 25 bottles and considering how many this rising champagne star has made its an absolute honor. Sentimental bias aside I truly love this wine and have dedicated my time as a sommelier to spreading the love for Etienne Calsac. Looking forward to watching this guy's promising ride as one of the greatest producers in the cote de blanc
