Burgenland Neuburger

Nose has loads of citrus pith, green apple, green herb, and pungent crushed rock. It the mouth it’s bone dry, very minerally and refreshing. A slight bitterness emerges in the finish. Great in a super hot and muggy day. HT to my daughter Rebecca for giving me my first Neuberger to taste!

Almonds and cashews with plenty of acidity.

2013 vintage. My first experience Neuburger (cross between Roter Veltliner and Chasselas) is a good one. Aromatic, vibrant lemon and pear with a light and lovely floral note. Has a nice purity about it.

Very fragrant, strong hints of pear and a slight hint of citrus, grapefruit like almost. Medium bodied with flavors of pear, apple and a vanilla aftertaste, but not too sweet at all. Just right. Great for a late summer evening.

Very drinkable, obviously complex, not too dry

I'm not sure what my ceiling is for whites

Crisp, dry, delicious!

2013 Vintage Shows some of the grape's parentage w/ aromatic pear and terpenes w/ melon rind, dry w/ medium acidity.
