1 person found it helpfulSep 13th, 2013うきうきセール2197円で購入したスペイン赤古酒、2003年物。開梱したら何度も痛い目にあった金賞ラベルが付いていたのでヘコんでいたのですが、実はすごい子だった！ガーネット色としなやかなタンニンは古酒そのもの。それでいてしっかりと凝縮した果実味、失われていない膨よかな香りも素晴らしい。樽熟によるバニラ香も堪りません。5千円はする実力だなあ。

Great, full-bodied Grenache. Good spice but balanced. Glad we aged it for awhile. Definitely decant before drinking to get rid of initial acid. Served with lamb.

Had the 2015 in December of 2022. Nice and dry. A little bit of oaky tannins but some definite cherry fruit in there. Had with pizza and salad. Wasn’t a favorite. Have another bottle since this was a WSJ wine. Had the 2015 in December of 2022. Thinking this might not have aged as well as it could have.
