What an interesting wine! It rounded off a wonderful evening with dear friends at Rouge Tomate in Chelsea, NYC, where the service was as excellent as always. This sherry was made from a famed solera called "GF30" that apparently dated back to the 1940s. Such complexity and intensity. Orange peel, toast, walnuts, salinity, and so much more. A real treat.

My, my, my. This is superb. Liquified hazelnuts and orange peel and (I am guessing) angel sweat.

Almost perfect. So smooth bit feral and wild at the same time.

Wild roasted pistachios married with burnt Carmel. The acidity and heat burn off instantly and a beautiful nutty Carmel finish is the result - it goes on for what seems like an eternity - so this is what real sherry tastes like!!'

Sour and toasty nose. The first sip is a flash of acidity which instantly turns into a lingering, lasting finish of hazelnuts, dark roasted pistachios, and orange peel. Unlike anything you've ever had.

How about just "Yes" burnt Carmel nutty dry well balanced. Perfectly paired with olive oil cake. Beautiful. This is the third sherry from this producer I have drank in the past 2 months and each one outdoes the previous one. Pure heaven that goes on and on. Nothing else needs to be said. If you are able to acquire this, I strongly recommend you jump on this beauty!!
