@Ron R Speaking of tipping the scales; this is 16.2%. Smokey, earthy, brooding and offering loads of dark fruits, framed by dense yet clever tannins, toasty oak and enough acidity to let the unity fold nicely. Not my preferred style, but quality wise very impressive.

I have known for years that Paso Robles makes great wine. This is an excellent example of what perfect weather, abundant water and great soils can produce. Deep rich dark fruit and extremely fine silky tannins! @Paul T @Ron R @Jim Trobaugh @Bill Bender @Jacqueline @Eric Shanks @Connor McMahon @Martin G Rivard

This is approaching ‘epoch’ on another level. No pun. No shit. We have several wines on deck as we begin an amazing night!! Thanks @Jeff Hennike for an amazing Block B. Beautiful.

Age makes such a difference. Rich, velvety, hints of vanilla and sweet oak. An instant trip back to Paso with one whiff off the nose. Epoch indeed!!!

Very one-dimensional. Not much nuance or depth. Kind of boring.

Amazing new world Syrah. Great balance and a seamless finish highly recommended.

Rich and lively. Strong wine but well balanced.

Smells like wet socks and horse's behind. Tastes nothing like it smells. All Syrah. This is huge and not quite open for biz yet. Great potential but either decant this for 5hours or wait 5 years.
