Fantastic! Pours pitch black. Hits you with cocoa, vanilla, molasses and undertones of coffee and bourbon, all of it without being overpowering.

Cocoa, coffee, vanilla, bourbon, molasses, with a rich, viscous, creamy body. Excellent!

One of the best stouts I've had. Great sweetness on the finish. Paired amazing with spicy food. 1st bottle of DC blizzard 2016!

How can you go wrong with coffee., chocolate, and a hint from the whiskey barrel? And it paired nicely with the apple crumble I made - a nice surprise.

I was thinking this would burn the esophagus and nasal passage. I was wrong. At 13% it was the smoothest mouthfeel and vibe I could imagine. Bravo Utah. Go Utes.

Pours a thick dark black with almost no head. Chocolate, vanilla, coffee, molasses, and bourbon all playing nicely with each other with no one flavor overpowering the others. A very nice barrel aged stout.

The whiskey is NOT overpowering - just the right balance. The beer is creamy, with clear notes of cocoa and hint of coffee - wow - great!

Hands down, there is nothing better when the temp drops below freezing. Most satisfying stout out there barring Guinness.
