Ruby coloration with a hint of brown. Some translucency. On the nose, quite fruity, cherry, raspberry, strawberry, florals, and vanilla. Quite elegant nose. On the palate, medium body, black cherry, currants, minerals, earth and a long finish of black cherry. Nicely balanced wine that drinks big despite a medium body which is a bit deceptive. $80 at B-21.

Very good, but the hint of oak inhibits its natural energy and fattens the fruit layer which has an effect of making it seem superficial. Otherwise it has great acid and aromatic complexity and polished tannins.
