Feb 19th, 2021At home enjoying with rack of lamb. Haven’t had one of these since earlier this year. Still as good as I remember. I bought several cases. Not sure how much is left. Not a sipping wine but great with food.

Very nice balanced tannins and fruit and finish. Like it a lot. Drinkable, and drinking well now.

I enjoyed this over several hours and found it most interesting in the early going. It seemed to get more one dimensional as time went along...which leads me to think I should drink the rest of my bottles on the younger side.

Great everyday kind of wine for me. Bought 5 cases. Had chicken and soba noodles in a spicy peanut sauce.

Dec 23rd, 2017This is an amazing wine for the price. When we go to the tasting room in Calistoga we focus on the Carter wines which are awesome but expensive. This worked well with our Italian/Mediterranean meal.
