Shows like a Rayas Pignan. Spice, dark fruits, candied cherry. Pretty hard not to finish quickly.

Woah. Insane nose. Dark cherries and red fruits, potpourri, incense, maybe some barnyard? Bright and balanced with good minerality. Drink or hold.

Continuing with my return to Mencía, which I once enjoyed frequently but have grown apart from of late. About as pretty an example as one can hope for, with salty raspberry & blackberry fruit, stemmy herbal freshness, and a stone-licker finish. Wonder what a little bottle age would do...

Mineralidad a buen precio.

Bright red fruit, sweet spice, pepper and minimal barnyard funk. Medium body, med+ acidity and finish. Interesting and delicious. I keep coming back for another taste with this one.

Damn. Best Spanish wine I've had in years.

Light style complex red

White pepper on nose, slightly barn like. Stewed red fruit, tobacco, white pepper, touch of earth.
