This has always been a great vintage for this wine, and it still is. Age has added more slate and petrolly additions, but it's the fruit that still owns the mid-palate here. Great stuff.

Abundant spice, fruit and minerals... it’s all there. Great concentration, definition and persistence.

Jan 1st, 2018Juicy, bright and deep. Gorgeously complex palate. Apricot, spices like ginger and pepper, wet slate, moss, dash of lime zest. Very soft, unctuous, lovely concentration. Fantastic dry Riesling. Right in front of its prime drinking window. Guess we're drinking the best dry Rieslings too young..!
