A full bodied red at 13%, but only with a decant. Think cranberries mixed with lava rock and you’d be close. Given the abv obviously fresh, but such a foundational layer of fine tannins, & it developed in the glass. Just one more feather in the Canary Island cap. Wouldn’t be surprised this still rings bells at age six

Pleasant enough on pop n pour. Some good fruit and slight funk. However, with air, it seemed like Brett took over the profile.

Then, after the reductive stink blows away, shows funky cranberry, light cherry, raindrops on hot rock.
On the palate this is light yet with loads of character. Full of cherry juiciness & freshness, with light yet firm tannins and great flow. Nice depth & precision!
This (at 12% alc) is so drinkable and yet quite serious.

Truly special wine, balancing assertive acidity w perfect ripeness, red fruits and earth/savory notes mingle and harmonize along a very lengthy well structured finish. Despite its technical perfection it is wild and free.

Killer juice. Funky haystack on the nose, juicy red fruit and earth on the palate. Light to medium bodied, fresh with well integrated acidity. Great stuff!
