Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

2018 vintage. Russell Bevan director of winemaking. May ring a bell, perhaps not. The 2017 was delicate and pretty. the 2018 (bigg vintage) has more body and more concentration but still lines up on the pretty side of things. Not your usual Napa Cab palate footprint. Nice for the price and great bang for the buck. 5.18.23.

More time to breathe is helpful. Fruit forward, dark fruit - blackberries, blueberries, cherries - and chocolate/tobacco.

Needs more time. I hope.

Yum! Fruit forward full body cab bursting with dark cherry black fruit, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon. Smooth and balanced this wine does not disappoint.

Nothing beats a great wine with family!

All the solid Napa cabernet sauvignon notes without too much baking spice.

I agree with Todd. It's a nice cab but lacking the level one would expect from this provenance. Takes a long time to open up & even then is reminiscent of Uruguayan Cab Classico which has tannat wine blended. From a price comparison - LastBottle did give a good deal. Just not the kind of full bodied Napa cab I expected

It took some time to open up, cigar box on the nose and dark cherries in the mouth. Not an impressive Napa cabernet. 2/11/15
