Drinking really well. Sweet cherry, rose petals, crushed limestone minerality (not sure where that came from). Pure and on the leaner side, with nice flavor concentration and nice bright acids. Lengthy finish with some assertive but soft tannins. Nice wine to cut through rich food.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over three hours. Pours a dark ruby with a transparent core. Medium+ viscosity, medium+ intensity. On the nose, Twin Bing, roses, alpine air, forest floor, tar, and a small dash of baking spices. On the palate, mixed red fruits, blood orange pith, tobacco, and fresh green herbs. Quite a bit rounder than I’m used to for Barolo but it’s undeniably a charmer. The finish is very long, bone dry. Yes…this is very becoming indeed! Medium+ tannin, medium+ acid, medium + alcohol. Hedonistic and drinking so well now.

A decent budget Barolo. Light-ish color. Nose is a bit astringent with some scorched earth, a bit of bitter cherry, lots of pungent crushed rock. Austere and aggressive in the mouth. Lots of crushed rock minerality, again some straightforward tart wild cherry, with a fairly loud bitter component. Needs food.

Pleasant, bright and light with lifted aromatics. Great effort from a young winemaker.

Good value. Dominant earthiness with background dark berries, balanced acidity and moderate tannins. Nothing spectacular but a good approachable medium bodied Barolo.

Actually really well enjoying this.
Smells good and subtle but nothing crazy. Typical Form north italy, taste first light and easy but then come a much wilder and tougher taste, quite wild and a bit smokey.
