Glorious woodsy sandalwood spice and deep pine scented red cherries at 19 years on...a sweet curing tobacco leaf and a silty cedar tannin that goes swimmingly with slow rendered duck breast, morels crisped up in duck fat and complete wilted ramps -first the bulbs the the greens all in the same single cast iron pan. All it took was heat, time, salt, and thyme...

Excellent pinot. Silky smooth with dark cherry, blackberry and hints of tobacco and leather. Just a hint of earth. Great balance. Amazing with steak.
