It has a medicinal quality in the same way his dolcetto has also. Is that a Perno/Disa signature? Transportively good.

Foggy days call for one thing. A humongous bag of dried porcini about to become risotto.

More please! So so good and far more pleasure young than proper Barolo. It’s got it all

Ripe cherry, spice, and lifted minerality in the nose. Rich and mouthfilling. Loads of soft tannin. Way richer than most Langhes I’ve had. Like a very good quality Barbaresco.

A notch better than the last bottle 3 months ago, likely because I decanted longer. Perfect pairing with beautiful slow smoked and then seared steaks from Kinderhook Farms. Loads of cherry. Slightly chunky at this point but doesn’t detract, at least not with food. Delicious.

Forest fruits, plum, mint and requisite tar/spice box nebbiolo calling card. Super classic and lovely. Not dried out in the least like so many others
