Vintage 2015 | Curious region, curious grape, cassis in smell and full bodied wine, really good effort!

Sister of a village level Beaujolais, semi-carbonic, spice, tart red berries, good acidity and light bodies.

Vintage 2015 | Saturday lunch. From the South West of France. 90% abouriou 10% merlot resulting in a deep colour 3/4 transparant. Lovely smell with raspberry impression. Vibrant taste, lightfooted and stylish, very well made, smooth taste. Biodynamic. 15 months in barrel. | paired with kale stew, bacon and saucage. And cheeses. Indulge.

Solid for $20. Could use a bit more acidity and tannin though. A nice wine but could be $14 and an even better QPR
