Nice for the price. Deep garnet color with violet, tart cherry, spice notes, and gamey. Tannins are there, but not overbearing. Slowly opening up after an hour.

At first was very heavy with strong tannins but after breathing it smoothed out nicely and more dark fruit. Enjoyed how this changed.

Pleasant on the nose.
On the palette it’s not abrasive with tart nor is jammed. What would I pair with this wine? Bruschetta?
