Sample. Medium to deep ruby red. Solid baking spices and black fruits on the attack of the nose like, cinnamon sticks and blackberries. A little bit of minerality comes through with some savory notes like truffles and a little smoky at the finish. Moderate tannins (7/10) and well integrated. Floral on the palate with rose petals, perfumed spices, as well as black cherries and cassis. Medium plus body with a gravelly long and dry finish. Drink till 2019.

Glad I kept my second bottle for awhile longer. This has really smoothed out and made a nice blend. The Cab Sauv really comes through on this blend, nice pepper notes.

Nice wine. Probably could have kept this in the cellar a bit longer. Definitely a fruit-forward blend. Better with food.
