For an '08, this Syrah still showed nice hallmarks: nose, fruit, balance, body and finish. Only bottle we have, but I'd grab another.

Nice effort from WA state. A little tight early but after an hour open it softened to our liking. My allergies are wreaking havoc with me this weekend but I am picking up dark fruit notes, a little lighter weight than I expected and a touch of alcohol on the finish.
