Dec 27th, 2016I've got a soft spot for Eberle because it was one of the first wineries I visited way back when I first got into wine. Rouse's was closing it out for $10, and since Gary Eberle first planted Syrah in the central coast in 1975 I couldn't pass it up. Not to mention, he's an LSU Alum. http://www.lsualumni.org/news/Big-Man-Big-Wine

Jan 23rd, 2015Just ok. I wanted more from this. The fruit is not as lush as I'd like from Paso.

Sep 29th, 2013First time in Paso many years ago we ended at Eberle, which was like the 4th or 5th tasting of the day, total shit show, saw this on the shelf and it wasn't terribly expensive so revisited it and happy to say we played that right - it's def wine you want to drink after you're already smashed because it's a boozy terrible mess.
