On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with cedar, cacao and earth notes, vivid acidity nice structure. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit and spice character. Good now will cellar well, a bargain compared to its Hermitage neighbors.

This needed more air. Revealed some nicely concentrated, if not a bit rustic fruit. Lots of spice and fresh coffee grounds on top of the raspberries and blackberry on the palate. Has years ahead. If opening now decant for an hour plus.
