This wine is 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier with 14%abv. Deep Ruby in color it’s a cornucopia of black fruit and earthy notes: lifted aromas of blackberry, black plum, black cherry and violet mingle with cedar, tar, forest floor and truffle. Leather and tobacco stew beginning to add tertiary richness. What is particularly striking is the balance of fruit with well-integrated alcohol and velvet tannin - it’s a cohesive work of art with a long finish and a lingering sense of finesse. Haunting

Medium Ruby with maturing aromas of black and red fruits with cedar, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and cedar with smoke and tobacco notes. Generous acidity on fine soft tannins with a long finish ending with fruit and oak. Can still age a bit , drinking well now! Nice!

Once again, a singular experience. Not quite as sublime as the Sorrel, but quibbles. Stunning.

Silky Shiraz, very soft with medium body and lots of cedar and leafy herb characteristics. Quite nice, but maybe not as complex as I expected.
