Lovely aromas of dried meat, spice , lilac, dusty rose petals and a little white pepper. On the palate less than medium weight. One of Australia’s leading wines in this genre is Mt Langhi Ghiran “Langi” admittedly more expensive I would much prefer or Grampians Estate at Heathcote for similar money. Expected more from this Cote Rotie to be honest. Lacking in mid palate fruit from previous Cote Roties I have enjoyed. Disappointing.

Red and blue fruits. Black pepper, dried herb, slight medicinal nose. Very subtle nose. Tannins are a bit aggressive, great structure and long finish.

Orgasmic. That is all i’m going to comment about it.

2010: very sweet bright red fruit, raspberry ripple, garrigue herbs, smoked jamon, vanilla, white pepper. Lovely nose. Good vibrant acidity, firm chewy tannin, but good open red fruit, herb, spice and a long vanilla, tobacco oak finish. Very good. Better in 5+ years.

Blackberries, violets, iron, smoked meat, bay leaf and coffee. Drinking nicely now but the oak dominates the finish and should hopefully integrate better in a couple years.

Boysenberry/raspberry fruit, meaty spice, earth, sausage, med tannin and a round mouth feel. Amazing wine! So much going on, I don't know where I am..
