This was drinking beautifully showing nice aromatics of dried red fruits, graphite, savory spices, leather, licorice, rose petal & tobacco. Good structure & balance that should continue to drink well for many years.

Very good Brunello but perhaps not the 96 rated by James Suckling. Served with HM pasta mushroom dish, a great combination.

Soft tannins. Good balance. Earth tones. Traditional. Orange brown hue. Thought that was interesting given the age but drank nicely over several hours.

A terrific bottle! Very fragrant wine with assertive but still graceful structure. Would but another six bottles if I could afford.
