Third bottle shared by our friends in Dijon. In the glass the color was muted crimson with the slightest bricking on the edge. I was surprised by how mellow the wine was for only being 8 and we all agreed that this was at peak and would not get better with much more time. Lean with flavors of tart cherry and wet gravel. Paired incredibly well with some incredibly stinky local Burgundy cheese.
