Vibrant gold in the glass. Freshly cut grass and lemon curd dominate the nose. Nicely balanced with grapefruit, melon and meyer lemon offset by saline and slate. Finish is moderately long with almonds and a hint of marzipan. Has very nice weight with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Good value though not as complex as some of the single vineyard wines.

California Chardonnay, lush ripe fruit, citrus, oak, vanilla, rounder style, nearly full-bodied, could use some more acidity but that’s just likely my own preference
