Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay

Underwhelmed with this tonight. Nutmeg, almonds and wax, but in general, far from memorable.

Whoa! Piercing, riveting and laser focused. Such balance, yet displays dominance, particularly on the mid palate. So fresh and lively. Zippy acidity with granite notes. Creates a sense of urgency right through to the citrus-note finish. Hold these for a while. A stunner of a chard.

After 2 oxidized bottles, nice to know there are good bottles as well. This one is really good, and even better at day 2.

Really good tonight, very chablis like (2017 in napa was relatively cool) and became a lot more complex after opening compared to previous bottles.

Young but a nice nose and very long aftertaste.

My head says Dumol but my heart says McDonald's 😂 🙈 🍔 🍟

Excellent pairing with the McChicken btw

Slightly reductive pushes this to nine point oh.

Lots of complexity and finesse in this stunning Chardonnay. Green apple, pear, bread, flint. Not a rough edge to be found
