Hyde vineyard. Rich. More so than the Mount Eden. Bit of mint, shaved honeyed almonds on the nose. Lemon meringue, cream and good acidity on the finish. Would be fun to try next to Aubert’s Larry Hyde & Sons bottle.

2009. This wine really emphasizes oak, with some roasted stone fruit.

Not at all the typical butter bombs of California. Made and exceptional dinner at Morimoto Napa even finer.

Merry Christmas!! Darkish gold color. Took a while to open up. I think any Chard more than 5yrs old needs a decant. Medium depth and finish. Creamy flavors with modest acidity and fruit.
