Napa Valley Merlot

I photographed this with the cork alongside because it was pristine. I couldn’t believe how vibrant this wine was after so many years. A real treat. The $42.99 price tag was still on the back from when I bought it 20 years ago...

Suprisingly after 20 years it was very drinkable. Had lost a bit of the Duckhorn luster, but I'm going to see if I have another bottle of it

ダックホーンと言えどもメルローなので柔らかく、熟成感が弱い。

Grand - Stewed dark fruit, great clarity still, but on the way out. Tart. Fine tannins, and a long finish.

Over the hill but sweet oxidized dark fruit dominates. Solid fun old wine experience. Tannins way faded.
