Loved the Paraduxx from Rector Creek earlier this year so not surprised this met my high expectations.

From its firm, age-worthy structure to its gorgeous aromas of chocolate-covered cherries, blueberry, violet and marjoram, this is an elegant and enticing Cabernet. On the palate, the red fruit notes shine with abundant flavors of wild ripe strawberry and raspberry, as well as hints of cassis.

Happy Easter! Dark fruits on the nose. The strength of the blackberries is strong. Medium plus body and fruity on the back end. Good legs & finish.

Rector Creek Vineyard is south up Silverado Trail. Medium concentration. Red fruit/berry, red cherry, red plum, cranberry. Blueberry. ALCOHOL. Clover. Clay. Tangy tingly medium artificial acidity not integrated at all. Felt out of balance.

Sep 6th, 2022Much lighter bodied and leas Tannins than you typically see from Duckhorn Cab, but delightful. Light fruit flavor, primary blackberry but blueberry notes as well. Great to pair with a thinner steak like a flank steak.

Dec 24th, 2022Grippy. Dark color. Caramel, chocolate, and tobacco. Lingers on the tongue. Very nice standalone. Nicely aged at 16 yrs.
