1 person found it helpfulJul 27th, 2020Traditional style Sonoma County Zin: dark ruby in color not opaque sporting some nice red fruit, vanilla, brambly spice and some herbaceous green edges. Not opulent - sort of a working man’s nose: lighter style on palate, there is a sweet spot of fruit, but very light extraction & concentration. Acidity a bit spritzy leading to uneven finish. Decent effort & maybe my bottle was off a bit, but not bad for $15

Jan 8th, 2021Young for this wine but I prefer this style of zin rather than the bigger, jammy one. Black fruit with a savory tinge and a hint of a medicInal bing cherry at the end. Medium finish
