High acidity, tart, apricot, citrus, dry finish. It is good, it just lacked anything that stood out. When it comes to Cali Albariño I prefer Ferdinand or Waterfall. Anyone else have a favorite I should try?

Really good example of this grape. Clean, refreshing, but not overpowered by garlic shrimp I'm snacking on.

Always a favorite weeknight drinker. Brine, acid, heftier mouthfeel- easy to pair with anything.

from a tiny area near Sacramento, this is nice and crisp with medium acidity. Stone fruit with a touch of creaminess.

2013 Andrus Island Vineyard Dropout Albariño. Bracing minerality, wry stone, like and a grapefruit finish. Banana? More rounded and less spiky than many Spanish Albarinos. Interesting. Different. A great companion to spicy shrimp.

My mind kept thinking Riesling as I tasted but it just had more tartness and acidity. Delicious wine and not easy to find good Albariños in CA. Honeysuckle and fresia on the nose with great acidity for food friendliness.
