Straw gold color, heavy in the glass. Similar profile and notes when compared to the Auslese next to it. Richer fruit in the mouth but with less acidity than the Auslese. Fun compare side by side. Great food wine enjoyed by all.

Lightning bolts of acid. Hard to see the RS but it's really brilliant wine. Crushed slate minerality. Honeyed peach and nectarine, lime leaf. Outstanding!

Rich and soft, predominantly ripe and candied peach (both natural and peach-o-ring types), was surprised how different it was than the Urziger Wurzgarten of the same vintage. Not as complex as that one but what it has it have it really delivers on. Just a slightly heavier weight and at 7 years may have been even more enjoyable a little younger

Aged in the crisper drawer of my fridge for 7 years. Mostly because I could never think of a time to drink it. Surprised how much I enjoyed a glass at lunch. Lemon, lime, not too much petrol. Acid kept the sweetness in check. So2 through the roof!
