The Dr. Loosen Estate has been in the same family for over 200 years. Start off by saying this is a good value for Riesling lovers. Crisp and fruity with pure fruit aromas. On the palate ripe Granmy Smith apple and citrus with layers of generous acidity. Medium finish ending with a mineral character. Tasting Sample.

Star bright pale yellow. Inviting nose of yellow apple, dried white flowers, and a very slight hint of petrol. Echoed on the medium palate (12% abv) with medium plus minus acidity (a bit lower than expected, but appropriate for the price point). A bit richer than expected as well, with a mouthfeel like a wine with higher RS, but still far from flabby. An excellent intro to dry German Riesling that’s perfect for pork or any white wine fare. Drink now through 2027.

Dry, crisp, almost sparking mouth feel. Gorgeous flavor - tart green apple and lemon pith. Super refreshing.
